ACADEMIC STUDIES TUTOR/MENTOR FOR MALAGA
Working with MTA offers a rewarding and exciting opportunity to develop students' educational journey through tutoring and mentoring on a day to day basis.
We are looking for a patient, highly-driven educator, qualified to degree level, to join our team of dedicated and excellent tutors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of students between the ages of 14 and 18 years. The successful candidate would work closely with the Director of MTA Mallorca. The individual would need plenty of energy with the ability to multitask and think outside the box.
Our tutors use a variety of soft skills and specialised academic knowledge to provide the most comprehensive help they can. These skills will include:
Thorough knowledge of specific academic subjects, preferably related to the Business and Scientific world.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain challenging concepts, provide instructions and deliver feedback to both students and clients.
Ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance using effective goal-setting strategies.
Creativity and flexibility in order to personalise their learning approach for individual students.
Patience and compassion for students as they develop skills and improve their performance.
Previously demonstrated excellence in academic subjects that enables them to tutor /mentor across a number of disciplines.
Ability to work with a very structured programme offered by MTA or our partners Wolsey Hall.
Our ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications, understand the difference between tutoring, mentoring and the ability to operate in a flipped classroom model.
Hours required: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
