PRIMARY AND SECONDARY MATHS

She has always loved to travel, which lead her to take a position with Thomson holidays as a rep in Greece. She was hooked, and in 15 years worked in 11 different destinations in Spain, Greece and around the world. She did various positions from supervisor, trainer, area manager in Malta, before moving to Mallorca in 2004 to be villa manager and later Palma Airport Manager for the Thomson operation. The most intriguing place she worked was probably Cuba, the most rewarding was setting up a brand-new operation in Cape Verde and seeing the first British charter flight land there. Eventually she settled in Mallorca working in an office improving her admin, accounting, and IT skills. She has always enjoyed solving problems and learning new skills.

Now, a new challenge beckons, putting all her skills and knowledge to good use in helping to shape our future generations. She has always loved maths and not many people can say that! Now she has the opportunity to help many more students to enjoy maths as she does. We don’t realise how much of the maths we learn at school is useful in our lives, we all subconsciously use many forms of it every day.  Her hobbies include yoga, cooking, sewing, reading, jigsaws and puzzles like sudoku and escape rooms. She is an avid fan of football, supporting Real Mallorca and going to the home games, also Formula 1 racing and watching and playing Tennis.

She still loves to travel for holidays but enjoys returning home to the beautiful island of Mallorca.
