Francisca Durillo Granados obtained her degree in Psychology with a major in education from the University of Malaga and holds an additional qualification of Pedagogy Certificate from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Fran loves teaching, which she conveys with enthusiasm. Since finishing her university studies Fran has worked in education. Teaching in elementary and high schools in language, literature and social sciences for Spanish and international children.
Fran has also achieved Q.T.S (Qualified Teacher Status) from the Chair of the General Teaching Council in England and assists international children and adults to prepare for official examinations in Spanish at IGCSE, AS and A-Level.
Additionally, Fran has worked as a psychologist for children and adults with specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexic, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Dysortography as well as other non-verbal learning disorders (TANV) and language-specific difficulties (TEL).
She has collaborated on wonderful projects to encourage children's stimulation through music and art, having worked closely with Picasso’s Birth House as well as some other Andalucian institutions to develop therapy programmes for disabled children of a young age. She has worked closely with musicians and artists to design focused music therapy and art therapy programmes to incorporate them into her psychological treatments.
Fran is married and has two wonderful children. She loves all kinds of music; enjoys reading and to know about the traditions of other cultures. She believes that diversity enriches our culture and society. She is passionate about animals and plants. In fact, she has a cat blog where she writes about different topics of cats.
