She holds a master's degree in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Leeds, and has a long and successful career in tutoring students of all ages in the UK and online to international students. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a science and maths tutor.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Vanessa has a deep interest in mental health. She has created multimedia educational content, including stop-frame animations, to raise awareness about self-harm, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Vanessa's love for learning and adventure has taken her around the world. She has spent years travelling, immersing herself in different cultures and languages. Her travels have included extensive time in Southeast Asia and Australia, cycling from the UK to Budapest, and hitchhiking to Morocco. These experiences have enriched her understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives, which she brings into her teaching.
